By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News – Current study results on Robotics have been published. According to news originatingfrom Coimbra, Portugal, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “3D LiDAR-based place recognitionremains larg ely underexplored in horticultural environments, which present unique challenges due to theirsemi-permeable nature to laser beams. This characteristic often re sults in highly similar LiDAR scans fromadjacent rows, leading to descriptor am biguity and, consequently, compromised retrieval performance.”
