Abstract

According tonews reporting originating from Shan ghai, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, researchstated, “Hy droxylated (hetero)arenes are privileged motifs in natural products, materials, small-moleculepharmaceuticals and serve as versatile intermediates in synthetic organic chemistry. Herein, we report anefficient Cu(I)/6-hydroxy picolinohydra zide-catalyzed hydroxylation reaction of (hetero)aryl halides (Br,Cl) in water. ”
