Abstract

Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors: “Arobotic arm is an automatic control device having the funct ion of imitating a human arm and capable ofcompleting various tasks, and has be en widely used in the automated mechanical device. In addition tobeing mainly u sed in industrial manufacturing, the applications of the robotic arm are found i n the fieldsof the commercial agriculture, the medical rescue, the entertainmen t service and the military security.The structure of the robotic arm includes a mechanical main body, a controller, a servo mechanism anda sensor, and a certa in designated action of the robotic arm is set by the program according to the operation requirement. The device installed at the end of the robotic arm for gri pping an object directly isusually called as a gripper, an end effector or a ro bot hand. Its purpose is to replace the human fingers,skillfully complete many complex tasks or manipulate various objects. However, for different working tasks, different driving methods are often selected to construct the gripper structu re.
