Abstract

According to news reporting out of Provo, Utah, by NewsRx edit ors, research stated, “Linear alpha-olefins (1-alkenes) are criticalcomonomers for ethene copolymerization. A major impediment in the development of new homoge neousFe catalysts for ethene oligomerization to produce comonomers and other im portant commercial productsis the prediction of propagation versus termination rates that control the alpha-olefin distribution (e.g.,1-butene through 1-decen e), which is often referred to as a K-value.”
