According to news originatingfrom Beijing, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “The BaihetanReservoir, th e second largest in the world, is located at the intersection of multiple large active fault zoneson the eastern boundary of the Sichuan-Yunnan rhombic block. After impoundment on 6 April 2021, manyearthquakes occurred around the reservoi r area submerged by water.”
