According to news reporting outof Padua, Italy, by NewsRx editors, r esearch stated, “Computational astronomy has reached the stagewhere running a g ravitational N-body simulation of a stellar system, such as a Milky Way star clu ster, iscomputationally feasible, but a major limiting factor that remains is t he ability to set up physically realisticinitial conditions. We aim to obtain r ealistic initial conditions for N-body simulations by taking advantageof machin e learning, with emphasis on reproducing small-scale interstellar distance distr ibutions.”
