For example, the workof packing a delivery article in a cardboard case includ es multiple steps, such as assembling a cardboardcase, packing a delivery artic le in the cardboard case, and sealing the cardboard case. The assembling stepin cludes, for example, opening a collapsed cardboard case, folding bottom flaps of the cardboard case,and sealing the bottom flaps. For example, Patent Literatur e 1 discloses a case former that performs thestep of assembling a cardboard cas e. The case former includes: a robotic arm; a suction nozzle disposedat an end of the robotic arm; and a folder that folds four bottom flaps of a cardboard cas e. The roboticarm holds and lifts a collapsed cardboard case by suction with th e suction nozzle, tilts the cardboard caseto expand it into a three-dimensional shape by utilizing the weight of the cardboard case, and then setsthe expanded cardboard case on the folder. The folder drives four movable plates arranged ar ound thefour flaps of the cardboard case to turn, thereby folding the flaps.”
