According to newsreporting originating in Singapore, Si ngapore, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Seismic damage toreinforced c oncrete (RC) beam-column joints in reinforced concrete (RC) structures significa ntly impactstheir stability and safety after an earthquake. Cracks caused by ea rthquakes weaken these joints, reducingtheir ductility, strength, and stiffness .”
