It is estimated60%+ of data in b ehavioral health is unstructured notes. Conventionally, narrative notes are not usedin any meaningful way. More specifically, given the voluminous and laboriou s nature of interpreting thenotes and associating them to various symptoms, the data is often used for purposes such as supervisionand billing. Given the comb ination of significant increase in demand for behavioral health services, advanc ements in machine learning and a deep understanding of the behavioral health spa ce, a desire to interpretclinical notes has emerged within the field.
