Abstract

According to news originating fromTokyo, Japan, by NewsRx correspondent s, research stated, “In this paper, we address robotic haptics withthe followin g question: is it possible to design a heating/cooling system that can fulfill b oth the necessityof keeping the inner robot actuators at a desired optimal heat and, at the same time, use actuators energyloss in terms of heat conveyed, thr ough a soft robotic cover, as pleasant thermal sensation to a humanwhen the rob ot is touched? We propose a solution to address this question in terms of mechat ronicdesign.”
