According to news reporting out ofMadrid, Spain, by NewsRx editors, r esearch stated, “Duplex alloys have excellent mechanical properties, aswell as resistance to corrosion, but when they are welded, they present a segregation pr ocess of the alloyingelements that must be controlled by the electrical welding parameters. In this work, an optimisation studyis carried out on the electrica l parameters for top welding two 3-mm thick flat profiles, where the smallestop timal thermal input is to be obtained.”
