The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied bythe inventors: “Although it can be difficult to measure risk ac curately, assessing a person’s risk level isimportant and can be valuable in va rious applications such as accurately pricing insurance for the personand/or pr oviding risk mitigation strategies to the person to help them improve their heal th and/or avoidaccidents. Typical data used to determine a person’s risk level include age, weight, occupation, smokinghabits, drinking habits, etc. However, there may be additional data that can be used to more accuratelyassess a person ’s risk.”
