According to newsreporting from Curitiba, Brazil, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “The objective of this study was todev elop a predictive model using supervised machine learning to determine sex based on the dimensions ofthe hyoid bone. Lateral cephalometric radiographs of 495 p atients were analyzed, collecting the horizontaland vertical dimensions of the hyoid bone, as well as the distance from the hyoid to the mandible.”
