Accordingto news reporting originating from Am sterdam, Netherlands, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated,“The invasive n ature of extended pelvic lymph node dissection (ePLND) prompts the need for alte rnativelymphatic mapping technologies. To change the focus to ‘sparing nodes th at are not involved,’ the firststep is to research the feasibility of intraoper atively distinguishing the lymph drainage patterns of theprostate from healthy organs.”
