According to news reportingoriginating in Odisha, India, by N ewsRx journalists, research stated, “The disruption in the naturalphosphorus cy cle has enhanced the problem of depletion of phosphorus rocks and its overabunda nce inthe wastewater, leading to various environmental problems. Electrochemica l phosphorus recovery fromwastewater has gained attention due to the production of high-purity phosphorus precipitates that can beutilized to relieve the pres sure on natural sources.”
