Accordingto news reporting originating fr om Leeds, United Kingdom, by NewsRx editors, the research stated, “SirRonald Ay lmer Fisher opened many new areas in Multivariate Analysis, and the one which we will consideris discriminant analysis. Several papers by Fisher and others fol lowed from his seminal paper in 1936where he coined the name discrimination fun ction.”
