According to news reporting fromMontreal, Canada, by NewsRx journalis ts, research stated, “Robotic machining is becoming increasinglypopular in mode rn manufacturing owing to its cost and flexibility advantages. Compared with ser ialrobots, a hexapod-based industrial robotic work cell has a much smaller foot print for equivalent rigidity.”Financial supporters for this research include Fonds de recherche du Quebec - Na ture et technologies(FRQNT), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
