Accordingto news reporting originating from P ontevedra, Spain, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated,“Macroalgae have be en used as indicators of the health of coastal ecosystems, they function as sink s ofCO2 and are essential contributors to primary production. With the increase in anthropogenic activities, itis crucial to assess the impact of such activit ies on these ecosystems.”
