According to news reportingoriginating from Sibiu, Roman ia, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Construction sites ofteninvolve the manual transportation of heavy objects, posing risks to workers’ safety and efficiency.”Our news reporters obtained a quote from the research from Lucian Blaga Universi ty of Sibiu: “In thispaper, it was proposed a design, development, and evaluati on of a service robot specifically created forcarrying heavy objects in the con struction field. The robot is equipped with robust locomotion capabilities,inte lligent perception systems, and efficient control mechanisms to navigate through complex environmentsand handle various types of loads. It was presented the te chnical design of the robot, including its hardwarecomponents, sensing modaliti es, and software architecture. Furthermore, it was discussed the experimentalva lidation of the robot’s performance in real-world construction scenarios, highli ghting its effectivenessin improving productivity, reducing labor costs, and en hancing workplace safety.”
