In principle, such structur es or parts of these structures can be produced in two different ways.Work can be done on-site using formwork, which is then filled with what is referred to as in-situ concrete,it being possible for additional reinforcements to be introdu ced for load-bearing parts. It is then leftuntil the concrete has partially or fully cured, after which the formwork can be removed, cleaned and thenused agai n. The process is time-consuming and requires the use of a large number of emplo yees on theconstruction site.
