In some respects, current manufacturing processes of resilient floo ring can beinefficient and wasteful of the raw materials. For example, in certa in processes, during manufacturing,the resilient flooring can be damaged when t he slabs of resilient flooring are punched into planks with adie. Such planks c an have a fractured bottom or edge that causes a significant gap to appear betwe enthe planks upon installation.
