According to news reporting originating inCambridge, Massachusetts, by Ne wsRx journalists, research stated, “While previous studies have exploredelectro adhesive climbing using the insect-scale Harvard Ambulatory Microrobot platform, the robot’sability to climb reliably over irregular terrain has remained limit ed. To evaluate potential solutions, weconducted an investigation of the electr oadhesive pad design space and characterized the shear forceclimbing capabiliti es of the robot with different pad designs.”
