According to news reporting out of Kunming, People’s Republic of China, by N ewsRx editors, research stated, “In robot joints or rotary vector(RV) reducers, where cycloidal gears perform complex low-speed rotating motions involving reci procatingvariable speed and incomplete rotation, conventional methods typically fail to detect their tooth fault. Toaddress this issue, a piecewise mean diffe rence (PMD) method is proposed in this article.”
