Thispaper employs eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) a nd support vector machine (SVM)-particle swarmoptimization (PSO) machine learni ng (ML) approaches to model the temporal local scour depth aroundbridge piers u nder clear water scouring (CWS) conditions.”
