Abstract

According tonews reporting originating from Heide lberg, Germany, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “[F]FDG PET/CT is a powerful imaging modality of high performan ce in multiple myeloma (MM) and isconsidered the appropriate method for assessi ng treatment response in this disease. On the other hand,due to the heterogeneo us and sometimes complex patterns of bone marrow infiltration in MM, the interpretation of PET/CT can be particularly challenging, hampering interobserver repro ducibility and limitingthe diagnostic and prognostic ability of the modality.”
