Abstract

Accordingto news originating from Hefei, Peop le’s Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, researchstated, “Bird’s eye v iew (BEV) segmentation map is a recent development in autonomous driving that provides effective environmental information, such as drivable areas and lane divi ders. Most of the existingmethods use cameras and LiDAR as inputs for segmentat ion and the fusion of different modalities is accomplishedthrough either concat enation or addition operations, which fails to exploit fully the correlationand complementarity between modalities.”
