This paper aims to represent an integrated reliability-based robust control. This strategy is based on the H_∞ control strategy and the Hasofer-Lind and Rackwitz-Fiessler (HL-RF) strategy. One of the sources of the instability and improper performance in systems is uncertainty. This can be caused by the absence of understanding of the properties of materials, mistakes in design, etc. For better consideration, the uncertainty in the system is considered. Also, we utilized the H_∞ control strategy, which is a well-known algorithm in robust control strategy and reliability method. We used the H_∞ control strategy based on the linear matrix inequality to find the appropriate control force of the Active system. Moreover, the Active tuned mass dampers are used in the structure. These dampers are distributed on the different floors of the benchmark building. In other words, this kind of damper is vertically distributed in the structure. Also, the passive TMDs are utilized to investigate the structural responses and the reliability procedure is calculated by assuming the uncertainty in the parameters associated with dampers. The proposed strategy indicates that the responses with uncertainty have values greater than those without uncertainty. Also, the reliability index is obtained by utilization of the HL-RF method, which shows the appropriate value for the proposed system.
