By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News - New research on Biomedical Engineering - Bone Cement is the subject of a report.According to news reporting originati ng in Weihai, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx journalists,research stated , “The objective of this study was to investigate the impact of robot-assisted s urgery(RA) on the risk of new vertebral compression fracture (NVCF) and bone ce ment leakage in patients withosteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCF ) after percutaneous vertebral augmentation (PVA),including percutaneous kyphop lasty (PKP) and percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP). A meta-analysis wasperformed to evaluate the clinical outcomes and adverse effects of RA-PVA versus fluorosc opy-assisted(FA)-PVA in patients with OVCF.”
