According to news originatingfrom the Lawrence Berkeley Nati onal Laboratory by NewsRx editors, the research stated, “This paperpresents a s parsified Fourier neural operator for coupled time-dependent partial differentia l equations(ST-FNO) as an efficient machine learning surrogate for fluid and pa rticle-based fusion codes such asNIMROD (Non-Ideal Magnetohydrodynamics with Ro tation - Open Discussion) and GTC (GyrokineticToroidal Code).”
