Abstract

According to news reporting fromNew Orleans, Louisiana, by NewsRx jo urnalists, research stated, “People’s daily travel behavior can havefar-reachin g impacts on issues ranging from climate change and public health to social equi ty. This studyaddresses a gap in the literature regarding the effects of built environments on travel behavior using alarge (one million trips from 100,000 ho useholds), geographically precise (household XY coordinates), andmultiregional (36 regions) dataset and machine learning analysis (boosted regression trees, BR T).”
