Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“Blister packaging, often referred as blistered packs or blist er cards, are commonly used in the pharmaceuticalfield for protecting and distr ibuting pills or any type of medicine provided in single units, suchas tablets or capsules. A blister pack usually comprises several containers or chambers, in which pills aredeposited. The containers are then sealed with material such as paperboard, aluminum foil or plastic, tosecure and protect the pills from exte rnal factors, such as humidity or dust.
