Such digital printers includeon e or more printheads for making, on sheet materials, patterns, decorations, colo rations, and more.Each printhead has a plurality of nozzles for dispensing ink, which may be subject to frequent cloggingor crusting that prevents proper ink dispensing and causes prints to be produced with defects or printingerrors. Kno wn digital printers may have computerized systems equipped with systems to recog nize defectsor printing errors. Such known systems compare images being printed with scans obtained from prints witherrors, previously obtained by intentional ly tampering the digital printer so that it generates errors.
