According to newsreporting originating from Subiac o, Australia, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Functionalalignment ( FA) in total knee arthroplasty (TKA) aims to achieve balanced gaps by adjusting implant positioningwhile minimizing changes to constitutional joint line obliqu ity (JLO). Although FA uses kinematicalignment (KA) as a starting point, the fi nal implant positions can vary significantly between these twoapproaches.”
