According to newsreporting out of Gustave Eiffe l University by NewsRx editors, research stated, “In accordance with thecurrent European railway regulations and particularly the two directives relating to th e interoperability(Directive (EU) 2016/797) and safety (Directive (EU) 2016/798 ) of the railway system, this literaturereview proposes to classify artificial intelligence (AI) applications by distinguishing the structural elements(Infras tructure, Energy, Control-Command-Signalling and Rolling Stock) and the function al elements(Operation and Traffic Management, Maintenance and Telematics Applic ations) of the European railwaysystem.”
