Decision trees are a prominent type of ML model. Ingeneral, a decision tr ee is a supervised learning method used for classification and regression. A dec ision tree may be an ML model configured to predict the value of a target variab le by learning simple decisionrules inferred from data features used to build a nd/or train the decision tree.
