Abstract

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News - Investigators discuss new findings in Artificial Intelligence. According to news reportingout of Seattle, Washington, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “PurposeComputer vision and artificial intelligence (AI) offer the opportunity to rapidly and accurately interpret standard ized x-rays. We trained andvalidated a machine learning tool that identified ke y reference points and determined glenoid retroversionand glenohumeral relation ships on axillary radiographs.MethodsStandardized pre and post arthroplastyaxil lary radiographs were manually annotated locating six reference points and used to train a computervision model that could identify these reference points with out human guidance.”
