According to news reportingout of Seattle, Washington, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “PurposeComputer vision and artificial intelligence (AI) offer the opportunity to rapidly and accurately interpret standard ized x-rays. We trained andvalidated a machine learning tool that identified ke y reference points and determined glenoid retroversionand glenohumeral relation ships on axillary radiographs.MethodsStandardized pre and post arthroplastyaxil lary radiographs were manually annotated locating six reference points and used to train a computervision model that could identify these reference points with out human guidance.”
