No assignee for this patent application has been made.Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“Various embodiments of the present disclosure address technic al challenges related to abstractive summarizationtechniques given limitations of existing natural language and machine learning approaches.Existing abstracti ve summarization techniques are unable to summarize long, unstructured, dialogs, suchas call transcripts. In the event summaries are generated, such summaries include disjointed sentences thatare not grounded in the context of the dialog as a whole. These summaries are inaccurate, disjointed, andoften emphasize irre levant portions of a dialog. Various embodiments of the present disclosure make importantcontributions to various existing natural language and machine learnin g approaches by addressingeach of these technical challenges.”
