The growing interest in ISO 9000 standards makes organizations to go for ISO 9000 certified for various purposes, such as external marketing and quality improvement. However, when an organization plans and implements ISO 9000 certification, there arises a question whether such a standard adoption process is wholeheartedly welcomed by its employees, including managers. With an aim of studying the perceptions of the employees, it is attempted to gather opinions from them by meeting them outside of the workplace. The details regarding respondents, interviewers and analysis of the opinions are discussed. (83 refs.)
