Abstract
In this study, we obtain another representation of a relatively new method for solving the eigenvalue problem of the Frobenius companion matrix. We show that the iterative scheme under consideration is equivalent to the Weierstrass method. Based on this dependence, we derive new proofs of some known results and get new theoretical properties for the Weierstrass method. (C) 2021 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
