外文摘要：Initiated by the Australian coal industry, COAL21 is a partnership between federal and state governments, the coal and electricity industries and the research community. COAL21 participants are working together to develop several action plans for demonstrating and applying greenhouse gas reduction technologies in Australia. These action plans will form the basis of a national approach to reducing emissions from coal-fired electricity, while maintaining Australia's competitive advantage derived from its low cost, primarily coal-based, electricity supply.
