A NEW PHENOLIC GLYCOSIDE FROM Polygonatum sibiricum AND ITS α-GLUCOSIDASE INIOBITORY ACTIVITY

A new phenolic glycoside 1,together with two known compounds(2,3),has been isolated from the ethanolic extract of Polygonatum sibiricum F.Delaroche.Its structure was elucidated as(2R)-syringylpropane-1,3-diol-1-O-β-D-glucopyranoside by spectroscopic data(~1H NMR,~(13)C NMR,HSQC,HMBC,and HR-ESI-MS)and chemical evidence.In the in vitro assay,compound 1 displayed potent inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase with an IC_(50)value of 10.90 μМ.
