A model is presented that allows the liberationdistribution of particles resulting from comminution to beestimated using the texture of the original ore. The model, whichassumes non-preferential breakage, is based on stereology andtherefore requires the texture to be defined in either one or twodimension. The problem is solved by separating it into twotasks.
