Surge Copper plans to undertake re gional exploration drilling this year near its Berg deposit in British Columiba, Canada, and at earlier-stage targets in low-elevation areas north of Berg, to test if there could be a cluster of porphyry centres in the north of the district, president and CEO Leif Nielson told Mining Journal. With up to 25,000m of drilling planned for this year, the results could begin to shift the centre of gravity of how it develops its Hucklebury project, which also includes the Ootsa deposit.
