Abstract

<![CDATA[<Heading>Abstract</Heading><Para>Two polymeric frameworks, [Zn(Dpb)(Oba)]<Subscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Subscript>(<Emphasis Type="Bold">Ι</Emphasis>) and [Cd(Dpb)(2,6-Pda)H<Subscript>2</Subscript>O]<Subscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Subscript>·<Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis>H<Subscript>2</Subscript>O (<Emphasis Type="Bold">II</Emphasis>) (Dpb = 1,4-bis(pyridin-3-ylmethoxy)benzene, H<Subscript>2</Subscript>Oba = 4,4'-oxybis(benzoic acid), 2,6-H<Subscript>2</Subscript>Pda = 2,6-pyridyl-dicarboxylate), have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction method (CIF files CCDC 1488269 (<Emphasis Type="Bold">Ι</Emphasis>), 1488270 (<Emphasis Type="Bold">II</Emphasis>)). Complex Ι is a 2D layer structure, which is constructed from 1D double chain. Complex<Emphasis Type="Bold">II</Emphasis>is a 1D chain. The luminescent properties of<Emphasis Type="Bold">Ι, II</Emphasis>have been investigated with fluorescent spectra in the solid state,<Emphasis Type="Bold">I</Emphasis>and<Emphasis Type="Bold">II</Emphasis>displayed a strong fluorescent emission at room temperature.</Para>]]>
