A new N-cis-coumaroyltyramine derivative, fissistyramine (1), along with four known coumaroyltyramine derivatives (2-5), was isolated from the stems of Fissistigma oldhamii (Hemsl.) Merr. The structure of the new compound 1 was determined by ID and 2D NMR as well as by HR-ESI-MS. The inhibitory effect of all the compounds on the proliferation of primary synovial cells was evaluated. Compounds 1, 2, and 5 exhibited inhibitory activity on synoviocytes, with IC50 values of 12.1, 13.8, and 15.6 uM.
