Abstract
Isothermal forming is done, at hot workingtemperatures without increase or decrease in temperature ofworkpiece, by maintaining the tooling at a proper temperature. Itensures optimum utilisation of speed and high quality ofcomponents. A short overview of the technique is attempted here for steels.
