Abstract
Heterotrissocladius Sparck from China, including 5 species is reviewed. Three new species, H.flectus sp. n., H. quartus sp. n. and H. reductus sp. n. are described and illustrated as adult males, and H. scutellatus Goetghebuer is recorded from China for the first time. A key to the males of the reviewed species is presented. Heterotrissocladius was erected by Sparck in 1922. Saether (1975) revised the genus from the Nearctic and Palae-arctic regions. To date, Heterotrisshcladius comprises 19 speciesrecorded worldwide: 9 species in the Palaearctic region, 7 in the Nearctic region and 6 in the Oriental region (Ashe and Cranston 1990, Oliver et al. 1990, Saether 1975, S^ther 1993, Ssther & Schnell 1988, Singh 1958, Star and Wiedenbrug 2005, Sublette and Sublette 1973, Yamamoto 2004).
