MHD SLIP FLOW OF VISCOUS FLUID OVER AN INFINITE INCLINED PLATE EMBEDDED IN POROUS MEDIUM UNDER THE EFFECTS OF HEAT ABSORPTION AND CHEMICAL REACTION WITH RAMPED WALL TEMPERATURE

We have investigated an unsteady magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of viscous fluid over an infinite inclined plate embedded in a permeable mechanism subjected to the influence of heat absorption/generation and chemical diffusivity under the assumption of the slip wall condition at the boundary. Considering the bounding plate has ramped and isothermal temperature with constant surface concentration, the dimensionless governing equations have been solved by utilizing the Laplace transformation (LT) technique. Mass concentration, temperature, and velocity profile expressions are achieved in closed form. The expressions for the rate of heat-mass transference near the plate are achieved. Numerical computations and graphical illustrations are used in order to study the effects of the slip parameter eta, magnetohydrodynamic parameter M, heat generation or absorption coefficient Q, chemical reactions parameter R, Prandtl number Pr and the Schmidt number Sc on the velocity field for both ramped and constant temperature at the plate. It is analyzed that the fluid velocity increases for large values of slip parameter eta, but decreases for large values of Prandtl number Pr and heat generation coefficient Q, MHD parameter M, chemical reaction parameter R, and Schmidt number Sc.
