Abstract

A synopsis of the genus Oxathres Bates, 1864 is presented. Three new species are described: Oxathres guyanensis sp. nov. from French Guiana and Brazil (Rondonia), O. boliviana sp. nov. and O. maculosa sp. nov. from Bolivia (Santa Cruz, La Paz). A key for the species is provided. All the species are illustrated.
