Tweenty eight (21 thermophilic and 7 thermoduric) fungi belonging to 17 genera of fungi were screened for assesing their potential to produce different hydrolytic enzyme. Though all the fungi are potential of secreting one or other hydrolytic enzymes,they differed significantly both qualitatively and quantitatively.
